A Simple Request

Previously on the 4.30.08 i made a simple request to God “May i arise tomorrow with a beautiful sunrise and hear from You” and to my Joy i saw the most peculiar “sunrise” ever with a little something-something from Him who never fails to deliver in abundance.

Here’s the account of it

As i was looking to the east at predawn, i saw nothing but clouds, it started drizzling even as i was reading His word to me, but i did not doubt in my heart that my request was in vain at all. As i continued reading, the skies started to light up in its usual hues of blue but clouds very much blanketed the sky, “I said to myself it would show up” held steadfast to my conviction and even told Josh who was with me at that time, “Wait! it’ll come”.  

Then it happened, from the east hues of red & orange started to spread beyond the hill. It was still cloudy, my guess was the sun would not show. But the orange hues started to spread out unhindered by the clouds and before i knew it, right before me was an extensive “Sunrise Aurora”! The sun was absent from sight but streamers of orange and yellow began to show up, it was as if the sky was on fire. I turned to Josh and exclaimed “Praise You Lord!” and before i could repeat that praise, what i saw behind awed me. 

I saw one of the most complete, biggest rainbow in my life standing right before my very eyes. 

I requested a sunrise, received cloudy skies, drizzles, a flaming sky & a rainbow of covenant.
That’s my “God of the How much more”.

I’m relieved i finally got this posted, i stand to testify of His Goodness
